White on White

Hey gals, I hope you had a nice weekend. I had a nice relaxing one, soaking up the sun. We played a bit of golf and had a PT session which I could hardly walk after, but it is all in the name of feeling good and looking better. On Saturday we decided to enjoy the evening and reward ourselves with a nice dinner after our grueling workout. I love going out for dinner as it is an excuse to dress up and throw on some heels. During the week I am always in flats so it is a nice change and you definitely feel a lot more glam.

I decided to wear an all white outfit with pops of colour like my shoes and the necklace. The midnight blue colour of these shoes is gorgeous.

The bag is a vintage navy Chanel, I am in love with it!

These glasses were a present and are definitely my favourite sunglasses. All outfit details are below and Zara seems to be a brand I am really into as I am pretty much dressed head to toe in it but I just love all their pieces.

Jeans / Zara

Bag / Chanel
Necklace / Zara
Sunglasses / RayBan
Shoes / Zara

Enjoy and have a great day!

Bellini Ice - Pops

Yay it's Friday and I have the perfect thing to celebrate the weekend arriving and cool us down in this hot weather. That is not a complaint by the way I am all about the hot weather! They are so easy to make and really did bring me back to my childhood when we used to make them with club orange and 7up but these are the grow up version.

These are perfect for when you are having people over, they are novel and everyone loves an ice - pop. These will be particularly liked as they are refreshing but also really a frozen Bellini cocktail.

Ingredients
- Champagne / Cava
- Strawberries
- Orange Juice (I used a mix of orange and mango juice)
- Lime

Mix all of the ingredients into a jug but leave the strawberries until last. Then all you have to do is pour them into the ice pop moulds and pop them into the freezer. You must wait until they are fully frozen but if you are impatient like some people I know, then you can make a cocktail with the same ingredients to tie you over.

I hope you enjoy and have a fabulous weekend. Enjoy the sunshine.

Weekly Wish List

Afternoon ladies, I didn't get around to doing a weekly wish list last week so I have made sure to do one this week. I have been lusting after a lot particularly from Nordstrom, their anniversary sale is on and there are some great pieces to pick up. My favourite pieces are below.
The colour if this bag is fantastic it is an item you could use for all seasons.

I am in love with these glasses, they are currently in my online shopping cart ;) they are just amazing.
I know it is still Summer but if you wanted to prepare you could pick up a good pair of Winter boots to see you through those colder months and look fab.

I love these pendant necklaces, this one is from Kate Spade and you can get all initials.

I  think you cant beat the black and white trainers with workout gear, even for the days you wear gym gear but are not necessarily going to the gym you still want to look trendy.
I have included all the links below of where you can purchase these items.

Enjoy ladies.

Hendricks High Tea

Happy Hump Day one and all! One day closer to the weekend which I know you are all counting down to. I met  my sister on Friday  for a potter around the shops and of course we did not step foot in a shop but ended up having a few beverages to start the weekend. We decided to try the Candlelight Bar in Dundrum. It is a newly opened cocktail bar with live music and attached to Siam Thai. It was a sunny evening and they have a balcony outside so it was perfect for what we were looking for.

I am an avid fan of a G&T and Hendricks is definitely one of my favourites. When we saw that Hendricks High Tea was on offer we had to try it.

When it arrived we fell in love with the tea set, it was just gorgeous. Inside was refreshing tea made up of cracked black pepper, chilled Hendricks and tonic and it was accompanied by slices of cucumber. It was in one word, amazing!

Drinking out of tea cups all of a sudden makes you feel very ladylike a proper and is probably something to do with the girls more so than your boyfriend as I don't think they would be as keen on the tea cups as we were!

Even the detail on the saucers was gorgeous. We wanted to take the tea set home with us but unfortunately that was not possible.

It is definitely worth checking out and is something different from the usual G&T which I still love but this is just that little bit more fun.

Hope you enjoyed.

Pop of Red

Surprise it is a black and white outfit again but this time with a twist and it is also a more dressy version of the black and white outfit I posted last week. I found this little jacket on sale in Brown Thomas, it is absolutely fab, it is a French brand called IRO. It was reduced to less than half price and it fitted like a glove. We were heading out for dinner and I threw it on with white jeans and black heels and added a red bag for a pop of colour.

Well these heels were love at first sight. I spotted them in Zara and thought they could be anything and had a look of Aquazzura which is a brand I am in love with but are a fraction of the price.

This red bag is an old bag and was also picked up in the sale. It is a bit mad but I thought the outfit needed that pop of colour and thought the bag was perfect for it.

The ring is one my Mum gave me years ago and is one I wear all of the time. I always get compliments on it and is one of my go to pieces of everyday jewelry.

I hope you enjoyed reading. Have a fab weekend!

A Little Gem on South William Street

I am always keen to try new restaurants but there is nothing worse than trying somewhere new and it being crap. I find it hard to pay over for a meal that I was not happy with. I had been told by a friend who is a foodie himself to try Eden bar and Grill so we decided to try it this weekend. It was somewhere I had walked by many times and had never gone in. It was deceiving from the outside as when I went in it was so much bigger and really a little gem with a gorgeous interior.

We decided to go off the early bird menu, for €20 for two courses we said wed stick to that especially as it was our first time there.

As they had a good cocktail list it would have been rude not to have one. I wanted something simple and had a Bellini! It definitely helped tackle my Sunday fear. I had a good feeling about this place but I was seriously impressed with the starters when they came out. The presentation was amazing but then the taste oh my god, especially my asparagus starter it was divine!

The prawn gambas above was also delicious but I think I will be ordering the asparagus again.

Now for the mains, after the starters we were served up it was hard to keep the high expectations to a minimum. The chicken dish came out beautifully presented and full of taste, sadly this was not my main. I opted for the risotto and unfortunately I was a little disappointed it just didn't have the same love and attention as the other dishes that were served up to us.

Summer pea risotto topped with rocket and parmesan had a lot more potential as it had all of the right ingredients it just lacked that wow factor.

We sat outside as it was a lovely evening but inside was really gorgeous and thought it would be particularly good for a group night out.

We decided to skip desert and go and grab a 99 from the nearby Fallon & Byrne. I will without a doubt return to Eden Bar and Grill and think we have discovered a little gem on South William Street.

See you soon!!

Casual Coral

Last week was such a long week and I was so happy to see the weekend on the horizon. We decided to get out of Dublin for the weekend and head down to Kildare. I love getting out of Dublin and find that I need that every once in a while. We had fab food and a few G&Ts and just chilled out. One of the looks from the weekend was this coral and white combo. Really casual and comfy.

I am living in my white jeans lately, its a nice change from wearing all black during the Winter months. I am mad about this necklace and have wanted to wear this jumper for a while. It is so soft and is El Corte Ingles own brand, feels so nice against your skin.

These sandals are one of my best buys this season. They are from Aldo and they are so comfy and still stylish.

This necklace was one of my purchases in Spain and it featured on one of my weekly wish list posts, I just love it. It works for both casual wear and a more dressed up look.

This bag I have had for years and it is a great bag for Summer seasons.

I hope you enjoyed reading and have a great day!
