A Gem in Grosvenor Square

I am always on the hunt for good food and not at exorbitant prices and I found a fantastic deal in Gordon Ramsays Maze in Grosvenor Square. It was a warm Autumn Sunday and we were both starving after skipping breakfast (not something I would advise) and were excited about trying it out.

We kicked off our fancy smancy Sunday lunch with a few cocktails!

It was probably a good thing we skipped breakfast as we feasted our way through four courses, each course was deliciously tasty, with attention to detail and all looking very pretty.

This duck was delicious and perfectly cooked. It is a dish that is hard to get right and the jus was the perfect addition to the dish. It was bursting with flavour and everyone knows I am mad about sauces and jus so I welcomed it with open arms.

Just to accompany our desert we had another Bellini...

More often than not I find deserts can be disappointing in restaurants even in the top one but this sounded great and it delivered. Nutty Chocolate bar accompanied with banana ice -cream and sugared banana, it was that melt in your mouth kind of good. I was just short of licking the plate!

The service was so attentive - the kind you would expect in a Michelin Starred restaurant and the food was fantastic. We left the restaurant and strolled through Mayfair, there is no better place for a stroll.

Have a great Saturday!

Love BB xx
