NYE Outfit Inspiration!

I have been having such a nice Christmas at home with plenty of nights in front of the christmas tree, roaring fire and glass of red in hand and meeting family and friends. I feel New years is the last glam night to top off the Christmas period and we must go out in style.New Years eve is a night where you can sparkle, glitter and really doll up. I wanted to do one last post  of 2015 and share this outfit with you. It is what I will be wearing on New Years and is a little different from what I have worn in the past for New Years celebrations.

Cactus Bikini!

I still have a few posts to share from Vietnam and I cant help but feel like I need to book another trip. Trust me I am happy to enjoying the festive period, there have been so many fun nights so far and loads to come but my obsession for the sun definitely hasn't dwindled.
When I spotted this bikini I had to have it, a white bikini against a tan is usually gorgeous but I also loved the cactus print and back detail.

Festive Catrice Giveaway!

Seeing as Christmas is well and truly on its way and in fact only around the corner I wanted to run a festive giveaway. I am delighted to have teamed up with Catrice cosmetics, I religiously use their eyebrow pencils and only recently tried their lipstick range and love them. I have a few festive favourites to give to one of my readers that should help you achieve that glammed up look for the Christmas season.

Feeling Berry!

I've had this shirt dress for a while but never got around to actually shooting a blog post, albeit it has gotten a few wears and you guys loved it in any of my Instagram shots @bluntblondeblog. So here we go as promised.
This berry colour is perfect for the Winter months, I think it is such a rich colour that works on everybody and is a nice change from black or grey.

Swinging from a Palm Tree!

I cant remember the last time I spent my birthday away from my family or boyfriend, in fact I think the last time was when I lived in London. This year was a little different as I was going to be celebrating in the sun.
I am a huge sun worshiper and escaping this dark and gusty Winter makes going to warmer climates all that more exciting.
I had one request for my birthday which was a bizarre one and probably only one a blogger would want.

PhuQuoc Sunsets!

One of my favourite things to do is watch a sunset, throughout the Summer in Dublin I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ever changing colours in the sky and I have misssed them. Until we arrived in Phu Quoc, an island in the South of Vietnam where the sunsets are jaw droppingly gorgeous.
Every evening we made sure to make it to the beach on time. We sat in Rorys bar sipping on a drink watching the sun go down.

Meeting House Brunch!

Before I headed off to Vietnam I went pottering around town and stopped off for some brunch. We got well fed and watered in The Meeting House who have launched their new brunch menu.
We started off with some banana cocktails,  no better way to start a Saturday in my opinion! They have recently launched a new menu that we were invited to go an try. This banana cocktail was to die for and was the perfect way to kick off our expeirence.

Pink Playsuit & Palm Trees!

Hi Everyone, I know it has been a while since I last posted. As you will have seen on my Instagram (@bluntblondeblog) and Snapchat (@kevadoyle)I was travelling in Vietnam for the last 2 weeks with 3 of my girlfriends which was so unbelievable and I took a break from posting on the blog so that I could really switch off and enjoy. It was such an exciting trip and it has not been easy adjusting to the cold these last few days.
I have so many exciting posts to share with you that I hope you love. I have a mix of food, fun experiences we encountered and a few outfit posts with the most stunning of backdrops.

Polka Dot!

I am a huge fan of polka dots, in fact I am surprised I don't wear it more often. You will see if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat @bluntblondeblog I have just landed in Vietnam for a 2 week trip but of course I have a few posts that I shot before I left to share with you.
We headed down to Temple Bar in Dublin last Saturday and I have to say it is somewhere I usually steer clear of at the weekend as it is amassed with tourists. But we actually felt like tourists, there was a great atmosphere.

Dining with Oscar Wilde!

"After a good dinner, one can forgive everybody. Even ones own relatives" Oscar Wilde

I recently dined in Oscars Bar & Kitchen in Merrion Square in Dublin and learned a little more about one of Ireland's most famous exports, Oscar Wilde, while also enjoying a great meal that I want to share with you guys. I was so impressed with the experience, that I have an exciting offer so you too can enjoy it;

Get 10% off your bill by quoting 'Blunt Blonde' on arrival!

It is a causal setting but it is not to be mistaken for a bar that serves food, it is an inventive kitchen trying new things and doing it very well.

At Home Pampering!

It has been a while since I have done a beauty post so this one I am looking forward to sharing. I think everyone struggles with keeping their skin glowing and their hair healthy in Winter and it is something that everyone years for. Who doesn't want radiant skin and flowing shiny locks?
It definitely is harder work than in the Summer months but over the weekend I had a little home spa treatment and it worked wonders.I tried a number of new products and loved them.

Leather & Oversized Knit!

Morning everyone, we are already half way through the week (well almost). I am heading away on a girls trip next Thursday which I am beyond excited about. It is so weird looking at Summer clothes in November but going somewhere new is always an adventure.
Today's look is a little different for me.

Black & Tan

Another weekend has come and gone and all of a sudden it is November. How did that happen? The last month has just flown by. Recently we have been spending most of our weekends down the country.
It really is a switch off for us and god do we sleep well. I Sound like a granny I know but it has been so mental for me over the last few months that taking a long bath, enjoying a roaring fire and the odd glass of wine (or bottle) is heaven for me.
I have been finding myself wearing a lot of black lately so to brighten it up a bit I added this tan jacket and hat. Tan & Black is a classic colour combo.

The Cosy Polo!

Morning everyone, posting this a little later than usual on a Friday as I was at the eir Spiders awards last night with work so I am a little tired to say the least. In any case I have this gorgeous Autumn outfit post to share with you. I think these are some of my favourite pictures as the backdrop is gorgeous with all of the stunning colours.

Monochrome!

Hi everyone how was your long weekend? We were down in Kildare for the weekend, we went to a gorgeous restaurant in Naas on Saturday night called Vie De Chateu. I had been meaning to go for ages as I had heard such good things. We dressed up for the occasion and I was excited to wear this new long skirt from Zara.

Find the One!

When was the last time you got measured? The chances are you have not been measured at all and are simply guessing what size you are or you have not been measured lately and your body shape has changed but your bra has stayed the same. 85% of women are wearing the wrong bra size and style to best suit there body.

Pandora Event!

Yay it is Friday and I have had a seriously busy week. I went to the Pandora Christmas event last night and it was fabulous. We got to experience there new store on Dublin's iconic Grafton street which has opened just in time for the festive season and try out some of the collection.

We sipped on festive cocktails, perused the jewelry and got into the festive spirit. Pandora have some gorgeous pieces and contrary to what some people think they do not just focus on charm bracelets.
I have my eye on a few pieces form the collection but I think the rings are what really caught my attention.

In the Fringe!

My crush on fringe is not fading at all, in fact I think I am more in love with it than ever. I am definitely in the suede fringe camp rather than leather fringe. I think it has a really luxurious feel to it when it is in suede, even faux suede.

Bobble Beanie!

There is a chill in the air & I got the chance to wear my new polo top and beanie hat this weekend. I have a crush on polo tops and although I was wearing them last year I am so happy they are even bigger this year.
The polo neck is the perfect size for me and I love the 3/4 length sleeves, I think they always add a touch of ladylike glamour when they can be incorporated into an outfit.

Winter Boots!

Morning everyone, you may have noticed the blog has gotten a little bit of a facelift, so I hope you like it. If you follow me on Instagram you will see I recently posted a picture of some gorgeous boots that you all loved. It has been an unbelievably manic few weeks in work that I only shot this look this morning.Winter boots are an absolute must and these are stylish and so comfortable which is so important as I walk everywhere in town.

The mix of textured leather and suede is something that I love. But the zip running up the center of the boots and the buckle detail are what really won me over.

Parisian Doors!

I think it is safe to say that I have an obsession with doors, particularly Parisian doors. I couldn't resist doing a french door post as crazy as it sounds. So today's post is going to be short and sweet but appreciating the architecture, the craftsmanship and beauty of the doors on the streets of Paris.

The stone work is magnificent and the muted french tones of each door are exactly my style.

Botanical Midi Skirt!

I promised I would share this post as I got so many questions and compliments about the outfit. It is definitely one of my favourite looks from over the Summer.

I wore this gorgeous skirt in Paris but unfortunately the photos didn't turn out great but with this little Indian Summer in Ireland I got a chance to wear the outfit again.

Hotel Baltimore Paris!

When I started looking for a hotel in Paris I wanted it to be within walking distance to a number of places. You see and experience so much more when walking around a city instead of being underground on the metro. I pictured a beautiful Parisian building and we got just that with the Hotel Baltimore on Kleber Avenue.

This is a different type of post for me as I am just out of the shower and have no make up on and my hair is in a towel but being in a hotel is such a treat that I wanted to share it with you.
