Vintage Kitchen Loving!

Is it just me or does this week feel like it is just never ending. It has been busy so it just makes no sense to me, but I have noticed that for the last few nights there has been a full moon so maybe that's the reason. In any case Friday is here and I couldn't be happier. I have been going to the gym and eating a lot healthier for the last month, still having treats on the weekend as what would life be without some treats, BORING is the word that springs to mind and I am such a foodie so it has not been easy!

I am finally starting to see proof of this hard work, so hopefully I can keep it up, roll on Summer! Don't worry this hasn't stopped me eating out or trying new places. I have found a little gem of a place, tucked away on Poolbeg Street that I have to share with you guys. The food is divine and wait, it gets better, it is BYOB!

Being BYOB it means you can drink like a king and queen but for a fraction of the price.

I started with the foie gras with pistachio crust topping with the most amazing chutney. It was the perfect balance of tangy goodness with the velvety foie gras.

The rest of the table had the Dublin Bay Prawn risotto and said it was excellent.

The mains we all had something different and I think you will agree they all look amazing and trust me they tasted even better than they look.

I had the lamb shank and it just fell off the bone, it was cooked to perfection and everything on the plate complimented it so well.

We shared two deserts and this chocolate cake was more like a baked chocolate soup and it really hit the spot. This is definitely one for all of the chocaholics.

The crumble was tasty but when I return we will be ordering the chocolate cake.

This restaurant is definitely worth a try. Check them out here! www.thevintagekitchen.ie

Have a great weekend guys.

Love BB xx
