Peanut Bombs a.k.a Nutty Balls

I know I know, the title infers something here, but no they are just a healthy snack! I made these months ago and completely forgot to share them with you. I don't know what to call them except Nutty Balls but not sure that's the most appropriate name for them so we are going to call them Peanut Bombs. They are the perfect snack to have if you are craving something sweet but are trying to avoid treats and they are so easy and quick to whip up.

Ingredients
Chopped Almonds 1/2 cup
Agave Honey 1/4
Organic nutty peanut butter 1/4
Dark chocolate chips or shavings 1/3 cup
Cup of gluten free rolled oats 1/2 cup

 Melt the peanut butter and honey in pan on low to medium heat, we want it to be broken down to a syrup type mix. Add in the oats, chopped almonds and chocolate chips. Stir with spatula for few minutes until is is all combined, making sure that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. Leave to cool for 10 minutes and then mold into balls. These are best served cold so I placed them in the fridge for further cooling and hardening. Before serving I sprinkle with a small amount of dark chocolate for decoration.








These should be kept in the fridge in a sealed container to stay as fresh as possible but usually they don't last long in our house.
