Victorian Tea Rooms!

Morning guys, I love trying new places and sharing them with you and this one is so quaint. A family run business just outside Straffan village in Co.Kildare. With exposed brick walls, pretty tea cups, antique chairs and my favourite speckled marble tables and a shabby chic feel to the place how could they go wrong. We went for some breakfast on Sunday morning, it was buzzy and I was a huge fan of the decor.
I must admit my food wasn't amazing but I am not going to cane them for that, everywhere has its teething to do and there is not many places with this offering in Kildare. I went for poached eggs and hashbrowns and we also tried the homemade porridge which was the better  / healthier option. Served with fresh raspberries, almonds (would be better if they had been toasted) and honey.

Plus the staff were so nice and attentive that you cant help but want to support them. Look at this tea cup, the epitome of vintage chic.We had a good catch up and think if returning I will be going for the simple tasty option on the menu.

Also the decor is so cute it is the perfect spot even for a coffee and chat with friends. I spotted that they have some cute seating outside so it is definitely a spot I will be visiting in the Summer months. Check it out here Straffan Antiques - Victorian Tea Rooms
