Danielle Romeril AW16 Presentation LFW

Happy Sunday everyone, this time last week I was getting ready to attend the Danielle Romeril AW 16 Presentation in London so I thought it was fitting to share this post today. Danielle is an Irish designer who was brought to the forefront when she was awarded NEWGEN sponsorship by the British Fashion Council and supported by Topshop for both AW14 and SS15. I attended Danielles AW15 presentation last year, you can find that here and absolutely loved her pieces so I was very excited to see what AW16 would bring.
This years presentation took place in the Cook House which is located just beside the Tate it is filled with amazing natural light and the atmosphere was electric.
The fashion crowd gathered outside ahead of the presentation hoping to get the first look of the collection.
For this collection you could see Danielle had looked at historical costume and as always included some of her Irish heritage by using Irish cloth. This was mixed with a more modern and sports luxe feel with the use of deconstructed parkas, bold zips & layering.
You know me and shirts and this is one on my list.
I also loved Danielle's outfit, she kept it simple with a monochrome look.
This collection is so different from her last but you can still tell the same designer is behind it all. I love supporting Irish designers and this was my favourite look.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Love Keva xx
