Bow Lane!

I am so happy that it is Friday and I have a brunch post to share with you just in time for the weekend. This place has been on my list for a while as I have heard only good things about it so I headed down the weekend before last to try it out and see what all of the fuss was about!
On entry it was really dark and I was a little worried as for a brunch setting I love it being really bright and I immediately thought it must be more of a night time spot but the staff were immediately friendly. I ordered a cocktail while I waited for my friend to arrive and examined the menu.

I liked that they had a few more unusual offerings on the menu and it's nice to see people branching out and trying some more unusual dishes. I had crab on toast with two poached eggs and little potatoes. Not one to be having if you are on a bikini diet but it was tasty and I loved the plate it was served on - I know quite my love for crockery is quite sad!
Orlaith ordered fresh OJ and eggs benedict and the ham looked divine. Cooked slowly and the only ham that should be served with eggs benedict in my opinion.
To finish it off we got coffee and were very bold and tried there chocolate donuts. Once again warning if you are on a beach any time soon DON'T have them!
My overall reaction was that the staff were so nice and I am happy to have tried it but I think this is more of a night time spot due to the decor, perfect for date night! or perhaps you are feeling a little tender after a night out this lighting may suit you down to the ground.
Check their website here for more detail.

Hope you enjoyed the post.
Love Keva xx
