Breakfast Granola Bars!

It has been a while since I have added a recipe to the blog and I am a divil for skipping breakfast so I wanted something I could grab and go in the morning or have as a snack in the afternoon and I am not a fan of any breakfast bars from the shop as they are usually laced with sugar. I know so many people who leave the house and don't have anything until mid morning which is so bad for your metabolism. These breakfast granola bars are so easy and be eaten on the go.

Rolled Oats
Almond Butter
Pumpkin Seeds
Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)

I melted the honey and almond butter in the microwave so that it would be easily mixed with the oats, once well covered I added the pumpkin seeds and chocolate chips. If you are being super healthy you can forget the dark chocolate but I only added a few in. Place the mixture on some parchment paper, pack the oats together so that they are condense. Leave in the fridge until hard.
The next time I make them I am going to toast the oats before as I think they will be nicer that bit crunchier.They are so easy to make and keep for up to a week if stored correctly. I like to keep mine in the fridge but thats just me.
