Army Green Shirt!

I have noticed that my go to Summer style has consisted of easy pieces that can be worn in so many different ways. The look of a casual shirt, skinny jeans and heels is such an easily created outfit and one that I think can look hot but in an understated way.
I had been on the hunt for a an army green shirt for a while and this one from Zara was exactly what I was looking for, plus it was on sale so it was an all around winner.

You guys have seen my barely there sandals as they have featured on the blog so many times, most recently here and here but they really had been worn to death so they were recently replaced and I love these even more.

I went into Schuh again as I was so happy with my original pair and I was delighted they had these suede versions. They are such an elegant shoe and go with my entire wardrobe.
I know cacti and succulents are all the rage  at the moment but I have been beating that drum for quite a while, you may have seen this bikini Here I wore in Vietnam and any time I see an item with cactus on it I have to have it and this clutch from Mango was no different.
I purchased for our trip to Greece but never wore it. It added a different element to this outfit, it needed something with a print to add a pop.
My weekend was a nice mix of chilled and fun, on Friday we had an impromptu barbecue with friends, Saturday I met two friends of mine and had a dinner date and Sunday I went along to a Häagen Dazs event with Emily for a viewing of the Wimbledon mens final in the Marker Hotel which was fun.
I shot this look with Claire Brown who I work with in my day job and is an amazing photographer who specializes in wedding photography but has also worked on fashion projects. Check out her gorgeous website here or follow on Instagram here.

Have a good week lovelies.
