Miami Travel Guide!

As I am writing this I am looking out into the cold, all wrapped up and thinking it is a far cry from the dreamy temperatures of Miami last week. I wanted to share some of the tips I have for Miami after spending 5 days there.
Place to Stay
I wanted to stay in South Beach and I would definitely recommend you do if your wallet can afford it. I stayed in the Nautilus a very nice hotel that backs onto the beach, Collins Avenue is the best spot for the hotels. I went on a mini tour of all of them as I love checking out hotels even if I am not staying there and some of my favourites were The 1 hotel and the edition, Faena is more like an art gallery with a whacky twist.

Where to Get the best Coffee!
One thing I found super annoying was that their idea of coffee and ours is very different, a lot of places do free pouring coffee so nothing like our Baristas in Dublin, after a long hunt I did find a coffee spot well worth trying, especially if you are lactose intolerant as Almond Milk isn't as readily available in cafes as it is here ( I found that out the hard way). You guys needs to check out Panther Coffee in Wynwood, the art district of Miami and an area that is well worth a visit to get your cultural and artistic experience and a place you should stroll around to take in the infamous Wynwood Walls.
There is no shortage of this but if you want somewhere that is easy to get around and inside the best mall closest to South Beach is Aventura Mall, this has all of the stores you would need from JC Penneys to Nordstrom.
Places to Eat
Casa Tua for its romantic setting,  Joes Stone Crabs this is meant to be a Miami institution, they don't take bookings and are known for waits of up to 4 hours for a table, I didn't go due to this, getting hangry and all of that! Cecconis Soho House is a nice spot, I headed for breakfast but think dinner would be more of a magical setting. CVI-CHE is a spot for a healthier lunch / dinner but you need to know the menu in order to get the best food. One of the best meals we had was at Drunken Dragon, a Korean BBQ restaurant where every single morsil we ate was delicious. Grab a cocktail at the Faena Shell Bar.
South Beach
You need to get out and stroll around here and take it all in but it is very touristy so keep that in mind, it would be more like Times Square New York or Picadilly Circus in London and although it is good to see its the more authentic spots I am interested in.
If you guys have any questions you want to ask leave me a comment below.
